Accessibility

The Thiel Gallery is unfortunately not yet fully adapted for visitors with disabilities. Among other things, the museum lacks an accessible toilet and an elevator. The main entrance includes several steps, though the steps are low. All staircases have railings with handrails. During the summer months it may be easier to enter the museum through the rear entrance facing the park, where there are fewer steps. In that case, walk around the building along the path to the left when facing the main entrance.
On the first floor you will find the shop and temporary exhibitions. On floor two and three you will mainly find the permanent exhibition with works from the collections. This is also where most of the museum’s evening programs take place. The museum’s toilets are located just inside the entrance gate and by the collections on the second floor. A number of parking spaces are available directly outside the museum gates.
Please contact us before your visit if you have questions regarding the museum’s accessibility. Our museum hosts will be happy to assist you.
